CD is corrupted by copy-protection!, September 16, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Ferry Corsten: World Tour Washington Dc (Audio CD)
Beware if you listen to your music on portable devices and computers. The CD I received in September 2003 was corrupted by copy-protection, preventing it from being copied to portable (MP3/WMA) devices. It would not even play on any of my four PCs as a standard audio CD. Amazon does not indicate the CD is corrupted as such, even though the recording company does indicate this in small print on the back cover. I am returning my copy, since it does me no good if it only plays on an old 20th-century consumer CD player.

Ferry Costen is Reborn, June 23, 2003

I was an ardent early fan of Ferry. I stopped buying Ferry’s CD after the last purchase on Trance Nation 4! It was just aweful and told myself that my beloved Ferry will not rise above the wave if he’s not going to improve his works! I checked & listened to the tracks on his latest “World Tour-Washington D.C”! I was in for a little surpise! It wasn’t the same [aweful] sounds that I last heard on his previous CDs! The sounds are more smooth and melodic with pulsating synthesizers that remind of the good days (years) of pre-2000! I, and a majority of the trance fans will agree with me that the quality of music in general for the past 3 years has not been good at all! This is one CD that will keep me happy for the rest of 2003! For those of you out there~ be sure to check out Cream’s “Future Trance 2003″ which is quite similar to this Ferry Costen’s in play! I do hope that Ferry Costen and other dedictaed trance artists will all be charting toward the new direction! Ferry Costen desreves to be up there at the top like his former partner Tiesto! The only way for him to get there is for him to show to us that he can deliver quality works! Ferry! I come back to you now because you have polished your works now! Cheers!

To The Person Below, August 20, 2005

I purchased this album in Amsterdam around the time it was released. I was rather disappointed at first because I could not burn it … Well there is a way around that! Use a program like acid pro and rip the cd to a high grade mp3, or better yet a .Wav file. Then burn the wav or mp3 material to a cd. The cd itself can’t be burned, but the information can be saved onto your system. Easy as pie. There is nothing wrong with making another copy. I for one hate using master copies (epically this cd) I have the Pamphlet and cd both signed by Ferry Corsten
