Paramore Tickets – Paramore Headlines Tour

Article by Brent Warnken

Paramore is ready to hit the road yet again in support of their latest set Brand New Eyes. The third studio album will see the Tennessee outfit out in April by way of their home state (Tennessee) before running through the country until mid-May. The jaunt will include a few festival dates along with several headlining acts for the 13-city tour. The September set sees the fiery redhead Hayley Williams and her muscle men scream out their latest hits, including the first single “Ignorance.” Act now to see them live, with Paramore tickets online.

“This just definitely sounds more mature [than Riot!],” guitarist Josh Farro revealed to LiveDaily last year. The follow-up to their mainstream breakthrough, Riot! featured the Billboard modern rock tracks “That’s What You Get,” “Misery Business,” and “Crushcrushcrush,” with the latter becoming a top four track on the Hot Modern Rock Billboard chart. In response, Paramore has come back even stronger and more commercially successful, with Rolling Stone articles and Billboard fanfare.

“I think this time around in the studio we knew exactly what we wanted. We were really passionate about every single song. I think it definitely shows,” Farro continued. The result has been something that will keep this alternative rock ensemble on the map for many years, with new Billboard hits like “Decode” (the hit featured in the Twilight series) and “Ignorance.” The latest set follows in the West Coast footsteps of their sophomore set with production work by Rob Cavallo; the self-sufficient production also reveals the group is all ready to explode on commercial fame, with previous tours opening to sold out arenas.

Hailing from Franklin, Tenn., the quartet of emo rockers first formed in 2004 with the pop singer Hayley Williams and brothers Josh and Zac Farro. The two siblings, who had recently skirted up the coast from Mississippi, joined the 13-year-old singer along with guitarist Jason Bynum and bassist Jeremy Davis. The youngsters weren’t willing to wait around to find their five minutes of fame, and following a few rehearsals they jumped out of small town circuit life for the big rock arena they’ve been experiencing as of late.

The quintet earned the attention of Florida’s Fueled by Ramen label, who signed Paramore in April 2005 as they set to work with producers James Wisner and Mike Green for the full-length debut All We Know is Falling. The late July ’05 release sent the group to New Jersey’s Bamboozle Festival and Warped Tour dates, opening up for similar emo outfits like Simple Plan and Straylight Run.

The following summer Riot! appeared, a record that found mainstream production skills by So-Cal resident David Bendeth via the new label Atlantic. The three singles drew unparalleled MTV production for the group as they found themselves with a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and opening gig with Jimmy Eat World. The real mainstream success came not with the Grammy-nominated sophomore release but with the single penned specifically for the flick Twilight, a tune that made an appearance in the group’s live album set The Final Riot!
