Article by Juozas Kudirka

There are many destinations on Earth where people would love to take vacations, but when asked where people would like to vacation, the place that most often tops the list of travel destinations is Europe.  Europe is stowed in history and lore, with civilization stretching back thousands of years.  Trafalgar Tours 2011 has a very special tour setup that takes visitors all throughout Western Europe, going through such world renowned countries as England, Germany, France, and even Italy.

Touring the countries of Europe is a once in a lifetime opportunity that only a select few people get to experience during their lifetime. Using the tour from Trafalgar Tours means you can visit ten countries in total all throughout Europe, allowing you to see the sights and experience the visuals that make Europe one of the most historically rich areas in the world.  In addition to the famous countries you visit, you will also have a chance to visit some of the most famous and historically rich cities in the world. Trafalgar Tours London Half Day Sightseeing Tour 2009

Trafalgar Tours London Half Day Sightseeing Tour 2009

Article by Michael Drewell

Most Trafalgar Tours starting in London include a half day included sightseeing tour known as “Regal London”. This tour starts at your London hotel at approximately 8 am on the first day after your arrival from USA or Canada.

Upon arrival at your hotel on the first day of the tour after being transferred from the airport you will meet a Trafalgar Tours representative if you have arrived during their rostered hours for that day. If you arrive outside these hours there will be either and or, a letter of arrival at reception or a notice board which will specify a time of departure for the sightseeing tour the next morning. For your own benefit and that of others on the tour I advise you be in reception 5 to 10 minutes before the scheduled departure.

The tour will be conducted by a registered London “Blue Badge” guide. Blue Badge guides are highly trained professionals and have a remarkable knowledge of London. Local guides can bring a city to life and I would recommend a tip of one pound per person at the end of the tour if they have fulfilled your expectations. The Regal London tour will see many of London’s highlights largely in the West End of the city, including such highlights as Knights Bridge, Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus. A stop will be made at Westminster Abbey with time to admire… Read the rest

Perhaps you have chosen another Trafalgar Tour or are in the process of making that decission, then these entries will be of some help to you because I am also covering things like the airport transfers. In many cases we will be visiting some or all of the cities on the tour you have booked or are thinking about. Last night when I arrived into London Heathrow airport I made my way to the Dot 2 Dot desk in Terminal 3 and asked how the transfers will work this year. I then made a brief video of the arrival proceedure and am in the process of uploading it to the http://www.affordablecruisestours.com site. You will find it under Videos > European Escapade on the left side navigation menu, or follow this link Trafalgar Tours Arrival Transfer. There are Dot 2 Dot arrival desks in all Heathrow Terminals except Terminal 2. In Terminal 2 there will be a Dot 2 Dot or Trafalgar representative around the arrivals area so keep an eye out for them. Once you have collected your luggage from the arrivals terminal put… Read the rest
